This two part American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) course contains both an online portion featuring award winning interactive learning, and an instructor-led virtual classroom skills session which will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants.
The online portion will be emailed to you upon purchase, and must be taken on a Flash-enabled computer with a high speed internet connection. Allow 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the online content if you are new to BLS training or 55 minutes if you have previously received certification.
Once the online portion is completed, you will receive a certificate prompting you to proceed to your virtual skills session which will take place via Zoom and contains hands-on CPR and choking scenarios with mannequins. Mannequins can be picked up from our office in Pasadena or may be shipped out depending on circumstance. Please email Orchid@ADMinstitute.com if you need shipment.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive your digital Basic Life Support Certificate from the American Red Cross valid for 2 years!
